Welcome to Musical Panda, an interactive Christmas card that fits on a floppy diskette.
Musical Panda is designed to be an exploratory experience so I shall say little here. If you think you have discovered any little secrets... smile!
WHATEVER-YOU-FEEL-LIKE-WARE
Musical Panda is 'Whatever-You-Feel-Like-Ware'¬. If you like him, and you can be bothered to show your appreciation for the hours I slaved over a hot Macintosh, send me... something. A shell from your local beach, your favourite sweet wrapper, a postcard of your home town, a picture of your pet newt... anything! Really, I'd appreciate it, use your imagination... make a connection. Of course, if you're Italian, HUGE slices of parmigiano reggiano,10 Kilo sacks of porcini secchi or jars of home made pesto are most appreciated.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Musical Panda will run on any colour Macintosh but he likes a PowerMac very much (the snowflakes animate much better!). Musical Panda requires a 13" or larger monitor with 256 colours, QuickTime¬ and QuickTime¬ Musical Instruments. Musical Panda will run happily in a 4MB RAM partition. Powered speakers or some other sound amplification is recommended. Musical Panda uses QuickTime¬ Musical Instruments so presumably you can connect up a MIDI synth should you so desire - I haven't tested this, but I plan to!
